Tom Rook

Tom Rook, was born in England in 1988, and is currently living in Taipei. A talented self-taught artist, Mr.Rook specializes in pencil, pen, and ink. From a very young age, Mr.Rook has been fascinated by urban landscapes. He has been documenting his life in maps, intertwining real and abstract landscapes. To journal the places he has visited, Mr.Rook captured the history and development of the city, combining it with aspects of its natural environment. With emphasis on architectures, nature, and urban history, his works illustrates his journey in Chiayi and introduces us a new face of the city.

Huang Shun-Ting "Everyone deserves a Flower of Life."

An artist creates faith. Through this faith, Huang Shun-Ting aims to provide therapeutic and calming effects, which pacify the audience from their daily stress and troubles. Based on this concept, Huang transforms various fruits into flower petals, creating a bouquet of flower named Fruit Therapy - The Flower of Life Series. On top of Huang’s generic formula, Huang can also personalize the therapy to meet the requirement of each person. The therapeutic effect is at its max when the Fruit Therapy is decorated as part of the living environment.

Maudie Brown Beimen Station

Maudie Brown is a painter known for her powerful and bold portraits and is currently based in Taipei. She works in both oils paints and acrylics, often with vivid colors and strong, spontaneous brushstrokes. Her portraits are known to convey character and strong emotions. Influenced by the Kalahari Desert where she grew up, her work often explores the indigenous cultures and the people of Africa. To her, art is a way to portray the raw beauty of the world she lives in.

Huang Meng-Chin

Huang Meng-Chin specializes in multimedia choreography, combining visual projection, interactive technology, and lighting installation. Some of Huang’s recent accomplishments include completing residency scholarship programs in Global Art Village in India in 2007, and both Sydney College of the Arts in Australia and Headland Center for the Art in San Francisco in 2010 hosted by the ACCTW (Asian Cultural Council Taiwan Foundation). In 2010, Huang received a Fulbright grant by the Foundation for Scholarly Exchange. In 2012, Huang held a solo exhibition in Istanbul, Turkey and later received the International Cultural and Creative Exhibition Grant by the Taiwanese MOC (Ministry of Culture). In 2014, Huang received the National Award of Arts by the NCAF (National Culture and Arts Foundation), as well as completing a residency scholarship at The Eugeniusz Gepper Academy of Art and Design in Poland.
